Boots for Africa

Don’t throw away your childrens outgrown or unwanted football boots - donate them to Boots for Africa !

Every pair of boots that are donated will be received in Africa by a young person who has never had a pair of football boots.

The Boots for Africa scheme helps collect and deliver thousands of pairs of used football boots to the children of Africa, ahead of the World Cup finals in 2010, in association with founding partners McDonald’s and Sheffield F.C. and supported by FIFA.

In return for a donation of £3 (to cover shipping costs), you will be supplied with a boot bag to put the cleaned and tied up pairs of boots in. Give them to Nigel Saxon (George’s Dad) on training or match days and he will arrange to send them to Boots for Africa who will ship them off to deserving kids in poor communities in South Africa, Ethiopia, Ghana and Zambia.
